Job Offer Comparison Checklist
Use the same questions for each offer. Mark uncertain items as estimates and ask for important terms in writing.
- Base salary or hourly rate and expected hours
- Overtime eligibility and how hours are tracked
- Bonus rules, targets, timing, and whether the bonus is guaranteed
- Health premiums, deductible, out-of-pocket maximum, and start date
- Retirement match, vesting, and contribution limits
- Paid time off, holidays, sick time, and carryover rules
- Commute, parking, travel, equipment, and other work costs
- Schedule flexibility, remote expectations, and after-hours availability
- Probation, notice period, layoffs, and role stability
- Manager expectations, growth path, and how performance is measured
After collecting the details, compare both offers with the Job Offer Calculator. It is a planning estimate, not financial advice.
